Results of Mahadasha

 

Result of a Dasha is purely based on the strength of planets. Dreshkan can be used to simplify the prediction.

·   If Planet is in 1^st Dreshkan – results can be seen in beginning of the Dasha.

·   Planet in 2^nd Dreshkan – results can be seen in middle of the Dasha.

·   Planet in 3^rd Dreshkan – results can be seen in concluding part of the Dasha.

·   If Planet is retrograde – consider the reverse order of the above 3 points.

In Janma Kundali if Dasha Lord Planet is placed in Lagna (Asc) or having benefic aspects or conjunction with benefic planets or exalted or in own sign or in friendly sign, it results will be favorable and can be experienced in beginning of Dasha.

Wise versa, if Dasha Lord is placed in 6^th / 8^th / 12^th house or debilitated or in inimical sign or combust the result will be unfavorable.

·         Transit of the Maha-Dasha Lord from the particular house presents the specific effects in that period.

·         Every Mahadasha in its 1^st half gives result of the 2^nd house (next to Asc) and in 2^nd half for the 3^rd house (next to 2^nd house)

·         Venus in 12^th house gives good result in its Mahadasha even if aspected by or conjunct with malefic.

·         Favorable combinations

o  The house aspected by its Lord promises favorable results during its Mahadasha period

o  If a planet is powerful and is also exulted at highest point, is blesses native with good health, wealth, comfort in its Mahadasha period.

o A planet has gained strength in Shadbala and placed in exultation sign is called Poorna Dasha. During this Dasha native is blessed with wealth and status.

o Planet posited in friendly / own / exulted / Mool Trikon sign, or Vargas is called Shubh Dasha. Such planet Dasha is benefic for native.

o If planet’s Degrees and house degrees are at the same point, this Bhava Madhya is beneficial.

o Planet with highest Bindus in Ashatak Vargas is also favorable in Mahadasha.

·         Unfavorable combinations

o Mahadasha becomes unfavorable if the Dasha from birth is 4^th Dasha, Saturn or 6^th of Jupiter or 5^th of Rahu or Mars Dasha.

o  A weak planet placed in debilitation sign is called Rikkta Dasha. In this period native faces losses.

o Planet’s Dasha which is debilitated at the lowest point or placed in inimical sign in Navmansh is called Arishta Dasha. In this period native faces losses.

o If a planet is placed in inimical sign in both Jk & Navmansh then it is called Kashta Dasha. Such planet’s Dasha is very tough for the native

o Planet in last degrees of a sign gives unfavorable result during Dasha.

o If a planet is placed on the border of 2 houses Bhava anta, Mahadasha of such planet won’t be good.

o The Lord of the Rashi having Mandi in it does not give good result in Mahadasha of that planet.

Result of Mahadasha – Sun

Results of Mahadasha depends on the position of the Sun and its strength. Even the house where Sun is placed gives major significance for timing of events.

Sun is full of energy and it radiates intense power in life. It represents confidence, purity of mind, bodily energy, high aims, etc.

Following can be experienced in Mahadasha of Sun:

·  Disappointment reduces and confidence infuses

·  Native gets energetic and exalted

·   The person automatically gets impressed

·   Experiences royal feeling and gets blessings

·   Dares to take tough jobs / assignments / ventures

Favorable effects of Mahadasha

Unfavorable effects of Mahadasha

¨ If Sun is weak, placed in 6^th or 8^th or 12^th house or conjunction with lords of 6/8/12 or with Rahu Ketu or in debilitation sign, conjunction with malefics.

-    Intense miseries, loss of wealth, illness

-    Leaving in foreign land

-   Punishment by authority

-   Dispute with siblings & friends

-   Fear of father’s death     

-  Aspect or conjunction with benefic planets can change events

Result of Mahadasha – Moon

Moon is karaka of happiness. One can experience extreme happiness in the auspicious and favorable positions of Moon. Moon is also karaka of vehicles and animals. Therefore comfort of vehicle is enhanced during this period.

Moon has intense relation with the mind. Moon regulates the effects of the mind. Result of the weak Moon with different state of mind can be felt during the period of Mahadasha

Following can be experienced in Mahadasha of Moon:

¨ If Sun is placed in Exultation / own sign/ occupies Kendra or Trikona or conjunct with benefic planets, accompanied by the lord of 4^th or  9^th or 10^th house during the Dasha of the Moon it gives happiness, enjoyment, auspiciousness from start to end of the Dasha period.

-   Warmth of the mother’s love

-  Gain in wealth and agriculture produce, blessing of   Goddess Lakshmi

-   Auspicious ceremonies at home, marriage

-   Comfort and conveyance, success at work, house

-  Meeting with higher authorities, accomplishment of venture

Favorable effects of Mahadasha

¨ If Moon is in its own sign / exultation shows gain in wealth in its own assorted forms, good fortune, education, happiness, Royal appreciation.

¨ Lord of 9^th and 10^th house make major influence in the result of Moon Mahadasha

¨ If Moon is debilitated or powerless being in Krishna Paksha there will be gain in wealth

¨ Powerful Moon in 3^rd house, gives fluctuating effects, may gain wealth

¨ If Moon placed in one of Trik 6^th / 8^th / 12^th house, but powerful, mixed result can be seen like gain in wealth, happiness or bodily pain, etc.

Unfavorable effects of Mahadasha

¨ Moon associated with malefic planets is powerless, gives feeling of mental derangement, trouble in service, loss of wealth, intense trouble (equal to death) from maternal relations.

¨ If the same weak Moon is placed in 6^th / 8^th / 12^th house, one may face blame from authorities, metal tension, loss of wealth and health, conflict with mother, depression. 

Result of Mahadasha – Mars

 Following can be experienced in Mahadasha of Mars:

¨  If Mars is placed in Moola Trikona / own / exulted sign and occupies Kendra or Trikona or 2^nd & 11^th house with full strength and conjunct with benefic planets and posited in benefic Navamsha

-   Result in gain in wealth and agriculture produce

- Benefic from government job, felicitation from government

-   Property on foreign land

-   Warmth and compassion from siblings

-  In the beginning of Dasha comfort from wife, children, status and Royal felicitation can be experienced

¨ Mars in 3^rd house or angle gives wealth earned through sustained struggle, victory over enemies,

¨ Mars becomes strong if posited in auspicious house and makes native turn in to fiery in nature, gets courage, firmness and patience

 Unfavorable effects of Mahadasha

¨ If Mars is weak when in debilitation sign, placed in inimical sign, conjunct or aspects of malefics, the Dasha gives bad and unfavorable results.

-  Like disease, trouble, theft, imprisonment, injury, weak eyesight, displeasure from higher authorities.

-  Irritability, blood infection, painful fever, conflict with wife, disrespect to friends, teacher, lack of affection for son and will consume bad food.

¨ He may suffer epilepsy, cuts and wounds. Becomes arrogant, unethical, and irreligious.

Result of Mahadasha – Rahu 

There is a dispute on Rahu’s own sign whether it is Kumbh or Kanya. But it is exulted in Vrushchik and Moolatrikon sign is Dhanu.

Rahu represents foreign and other religions. Therefore in favorable time native makes profit from a person of different religion and on different land.

Following can be experienced in Mahadasha of Mars:

¨ If Rahu is connected with malefic and conjunction with Maraka house, the result will be shifting of place, metal suffering, death of wife and son, stale food.

¨  In the beginning of Dasha physical stress and loss of wealth and agricultural produce is expected

¨  In the middle of Dasha native will receive comfort and wealth from foreign land.

Favorable effects of Mahadasha

¨  By Kala purush Kundali Saturn is the lord of 10^th house of authority & 11^th house of profit. Therefore these places are considered benefic for the placement of Saturn. In the Dasha of Saturn,

-      Success in venture, acquires government job

-      Highly enthusiastic, comfort of clothes, vehicles

Result of Mahadasha – Mercury

The most auspicious planet. Mercury is karaka of intelligence, trade and business. Also considered as Kumar (Prince) how is immature, hence it behaves according to its companion planet. This we should also consider this while prediction using Mahadasha.

Following can be experienced in Mahadasha of Mercury:

¨ If Mercury is placed in own / exulted sign and occupies Kendra or Trikona or friendly sign

-      Higher education, refund qualities

Unfavorable effects of Mahadasha
